Very good Onigiri and a surprising amount of unique menu options compared to other Onigiriya I've been to. I tried the Teriyaki Chicken, Unagi & Ikura and the Tempura Ebi & Tobiko. The Teriyaki Chicken was tasty and will always be a good standard for those with a not too adventurous palate (like children), the Unagi was delicious as expected with a bit of extra saltiness & umami from the ikura. The Tempura Ebi & Tobiko, though, was probably the best Onigir I've ever had in my life. I don't say that lightly as I've grown up eating Onigiri (especially for every school field trip as a kid). The texture combination is what really sells it. Creamy, Crispy, Crunchy, Salty, Sweet, Umami. It has everything. We couldn't leave without trying the Tai Yaki as well. They were fantastic. That super crispy exterior with the nice chewiness due to the mochiko batter. We tried the classic red bean and the custard. Can't go wrong. One word of caution is that it is a small operation and so you should be prepared for the food to take a while during peak hours. Especially the Tai Yaki. I believe we waited for about 20 minutes just for the Tai Yaki. If you have the patience, the food is definitely worth it. So have patience.
Was so a joy to discover this place while walking by in the area. Tuna mayo onigiri 🍙 was amazing. The place is small but cozy, offers various type of onigiri, miso soup, taiyaki and various matcha options. While onigiri was made fast, we had to wait for quite some time to get taiyaki. Custard taiyaki was good yet not perfect. The shape was not cut into perfect fish form as we experienced in Japan and there was some kind of granules in the baked batter that I could feel while eating taiyaki. But besides of that I still give 5* cause I really liked this place and it’s delicious food.
I love this place, everything is delicious, and there are plenty of options to choose from. I’m really glad there’s a place like this in Gdańsk. I will definitely become a regular customer 🙂 On the photo: eggplant onigiri 🍙 Matcha strawberry latte 🍓 and classic mochi tai-yaki🐟
Very tasty, menu not too complicated, onigiri and soups really good, and with fair prices. Service is good as well. Definitely coming back soon to check sweet part of the menu❤️
Feel so lucky that I found this place today. Tasty onigiri for sure (I like the level of sticky rice) and there was a lot of salmon inside. The red bean tai yaki also very nice😊 feel like home, and recommend this place💜
