Delicious dumplings! Mandu had been highly recommended by several friends and locals so we had to give it a try and ended up going twice! For our first visit, we had to wait for about 30 minutes for a table but staff were friendly and helpful, bringing out menus and taking drinks orders while we waited. We had a range of different savoury dumplings, each came with a dipping sauce to complement it. We’re not great at sharing so just passed on individual dumplings to each other, but the staff were happy to bring spare plates if you wanted them. I had the wild boar ones which were delicious. Another favourite was the deep-fried Chinese ones. On our second visit on our last day, we didn’t have to wait for a table. We chose some of our favourites again and also tried some dessert dumplings too. The apple & cinnamon ones were just like mini apple pie pasties - delicious! Well worth a visit if you want to try this Polish speciality!
Le pierogi (ravioli typic) es exquisite, le servientes gentil e professional. Le restaurante es multo popular, le periodo de attender ante de mangiar es multo longe. Excellent Pierogi. Staff very professional and helpful. The restaurant is extremely busy, waiting times can be incredibly long.
We waited maybe 45 minutes in line to get into the restaurant, but it was totally worth it. The staff kept the line moving and even offered drinks while we were waiting. Once inside the waiter described the menu and gave suggestions. We had several different kind of pierogi and dumplings from around the world. All were so good and fresh. The polish with wild board, potato and the mushroom sauce were our favorites! Fun to watch the folks making the pierogi.
We arrived very near to closing time, but service was fast, friendly & excellent. Our kids (14 &11) ordered beef & pork pierogi, which they loved but couldn't finish all 10 pieces. The black pudding pierogi is a very good choice and recommended. Our standout choice was the baked pierogi filled with beef, cheese and red onion.
You know a place is good when people are prepared to wait as long as they do to get in. We were happy to sit outside, so got seated in roughly 25 minutes. The servers are very nice. A wonderful place, with such a good variety of pierogi, it's just a shame there isn't a tasting menu, otherwise we'd have tried a lot more varieties. Instead we opted for 3 different types, 30 in all. The Georgian ones were spectacular, exploding in the mouth and so very tasty. The traditional style wild boar were great too, but the star of this show were the deep fried ones, they were were the ones that have Kimchi and Ginger in them, very tasty indeed. These guys do not add a service charge, and they work very hard to keep everyone happy. So please, make sure you bring some cash for tipping!
