Description

The day begins with pickup from your accommodation in Gdansk and heads to the train station where you travel by train to Warsaw, or drive directly to the city (depending on option selected). Upon arrival in Warsaw, meet your local guide and set off into the historic city streets.  Pass by iconic sights and landmarks, including the Palace of Culture and Science, the Grand Theater, and Saxon Garden, home to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Head into the Old Town district and soak up the charm of this idyllic neighborhood. See the magnificent Royal Castle, and learn about the impressive Polish Kings who once lived here. Wander through Market Square next, then see the Warsaw Barbican and Uprising Monument.  Finally, enjoy a visit to the impressive Wilanow Park, a complex of palaces and vibrant gardens. Admire the richly decorated interior as you explore the impressive White Hall and Apartments of King Jan III Sobieksi. At the end of an insightful day, relax on the return journey to Gdansk.
