I had high expectations for this hotel in Gdańsk, but unfortunately, they were not fully met. Upon arrival, we were given our room card, and at first impression, everything looked perfect. The room was clean, nicely arranged, and exactly what we expected — at least initially. However, during the night, the room became extremely cold. The heater was very weak and simply couldn’t warm up the space, which is a major downside considering the temperature outside was around 2°C. We reported this issue to the reception the next day, and they provided us with a portable heater, but unfortunately, even that didn’t make much difference. As for the breakfast — I had mixed feelings. The panna cotta and croissants were delicious, and the cold cuts like ham and cheese were also quite good. However, overall, the food quality felt rather low, as if cheaper ingredients were being used. Additionally, the variety was quite limited, which was disappointing. It’s a pity, as I truly had high expectations for this place, but the experience didn’t quite live up to them.
