Just had a lovely weekend in Gdansk. Holland House hotel was in the prime location for all the restaurants and christmas market. I would say more a 3 star than 4 star hotel.

Stayed for 4 nights, booked through our tour operator, great location with relaxing atmosphere. We tried but failed to learn some Polish apart from hello and yes/no but all the staff spoke English for which we thank them and made the stay very enjoyable. Our room in the 4th floor overlooked the main street, was warm with plenty of room to move around and proper storage space. Breakfast was either buffet in a room next to reception or in the restaurant on the ground floor depending on the number of guests staying. Both had a good choice of hot and cold food and drinks. Thanks to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable.

Lovely hotel and staff. A unique style of the middle ages which really works for the rooms and hotel. The breakfast was wonderful with hot and cold foods. The location is perfect for visiting the main parts of Gdańsk. Highly recommended.

Excellent lodging in the heart of Gdansk. Very accomodating and helpful staff. I barely understand Polish and they were happy to talk in English. The lodging has an elevator, which is easy for moving luggage. Rooms were very clean with modern updates but historic charm. I wish all hotels/lodging were like Holland House!
