Description

Stutthof was the first Nazi concentration camp established on Polish soil in 1939 and remained operational longer than any other camp. Originally designed for about 3,000 prisoners, it primarily targeted Jewish people and the Polish intelligentsia from the Pomeranian region and the Free City of Gdańsk.

Over time, more than 110,000 people from 26 countries suffered forced labor, starvation, torture, and mass executions, including in gas chambers. Today, the site functions as a museum and place of reflection.

This tour lasts approximately five hours and includes entrance to the Stutthof Museum, a guided visit to the historical camp grounds—including both old and new quarters, the commander’s villa, gas chamber, crematorium, and victims’ monument—and optionally, a documentary screening about the camp’s history.
