Description
Located 25 miles (40 kilometers) from Gdansk near the town of Sztutowo, the Stutthof Concentration Camp was the first Nazi camp in Poland, established in 1939. It remained in operation until 1945, when it was liberated by the Soviet Army. The camp is situated in a secluded, wooded area that reflects its historical isolation.
Between 1939 and 1945, approximately 110,000 people were deported to Stutthof, with an estimated 85,000 victims of genocide. This tour provides an opportunity to visit key sites within the camp and gain insight into the events that occurred during the Nazi occupation of Poland.
