Description
On this tour, you’ll discover Gdańsk through the eyes of a local.
Together, we’ll walk from the Golden Gate along Long Street, where I’ll tell you about Uphagen’s House, Artus Court, and the Neptune Fountain. Alongside the classic historical facts, I’ll also share some fascinating local legends and stories.
We’ll then continue along the promenade towards the historic Crane. Later, we’ll walk down Mariacka Street to St. Mary’s Basilica. From the basilica, we’ll head to the Fountain of Four Quarters. Have you heard of it before?
Our next stop will be St. Nicholas’ Church. From there, I’ll take you to see the historic Polish Post Office, an important site in Gdańsk’s history.
We’ll then continue to St. Catherine’s Church and St. Bridget’s Church, finishing our tour at Jan Heweliusz Square, by the Great Mill.
Come and discover the history, legends, and hidden stories of Gdańsk with a local!
