It seems like they change menu from time to time. However, the pasta with asparagus was good, while my husband found the taste of goulash average. The dumplings are good. The taste of the side dish stir fried cabbage was different than how I imagined, it has a lot of vinegar. Nice atmosphere and service.
Was a great surprise of a restaurant. Had the cold beet soup and it was amazing. One thing that was interesting was that it was completely alcohol free on beer, wine and cocktails. Staff was amazing and so helpful.
A hidden gem near Targ Rybny in Gdańsk! We jumped in for a late dinner and ordered the fish and chips, which turned out to be delicious and surprisingly original. It is not the obvious fish and chips you would expect from a pub, but their own creative version. The fish had perfect, crispy breading, and the sauce matched it beautifully. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, and the whole place had a great, relaxed vibe. Półpiętro is slightly hidden away from the main promenade, but the surroundings are beautiful and make it well worth finding. Prices are surprisingly good, especially considering the high quality of the food. Great food, great atmosphere, and an awesome overall experience. Definitely recommended!
We had a great night. Both soups, pierogis and the fried ice cream were very good! Staff was very lovely too.
Great place to get a taste of polish food. We tried the crayfish soup and the czernina followed by the Gdansk plate, and all of them provided an experience we just can't have at home. Or in the case of the duck blood soup, almost anywhere else in the world. While saying that it's off the beaten path would be a stretch, it was way less busy than the places on the waterfront. I also liked that there was no gimmicky theme to it, it's a tastefully furnished place to eat good food.
