I honestly cannot understand how this restaurant is only rated 4.5 stars. This was, without question, one of the absolute best meals I’ve had in my nine trips to Poland. Every dish was outstanding—beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The quality of the food was exceptional from start to finish. The service was equally impressive. Our server and the entire staff were warm, professional, and genuinely friendly. They made us feel welcome without being intrusive. One thing worth mentioning for visitors: this is a traditional European restaurant, not fast food. Great meals take time to prepare, and they’re absolutely worth the wait. If you’re expecting your entrée in ten minutes, you’re missing the point. Sit back, enjoy a drink, have a conversation, and let the kitchen do what it does best. After nine visits to Poland and dining at restaurants across the country, I can confidently say this is one of the finest dining experiences I’ve had. Kubicki has earned a place on my “must visit” list every time I’m in Gdańsk. Highly, highly recommended.
Great spot for a Polish meal when touring Gdansk. Our little dog was also welcome. Food was good and service was outstanding.
We had a lovely dinning experience here during the weekend. The staff were attentive and friendly. Both the pork knuckle and duck leg were amazingly cooked, it was very tender and rich in flavor. The beetroot sauce on our appetizer was sublime. Will definitely recommend this place, not to mention the good view to the water.
Kubicki Restaurant in Gdańsk was a fantastic experience. The beef tartare was exceptionally well balanced, even after mixing all the traditional Gdańsk accompaniments like pickled cucumber, champignons, and onion, they never overpowered the delicate flavour of the local beef itself. The duck portion was very generous, and paired with red cabbage and cranberry sauce was absolutely delicious. A non-alcoholic IPA from a local brewery, enriched the whole meal and brought back my memories of my youth years living in Gdańsk. The staff were informative, helpful, and very attentive throughout the evening. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Polish cuisine and a true taste of Gdańsk.
I had a fantastic dining experience at Kubicki. I ordered the pork, and it was absolutely amazing—perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. You can really tell the quality of the ingredients and the care put into the dish. The service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and professional without being intrusive. It made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
