A wonderful restaurant with an elegant and inviting interior. The highlight of the meal was the steak, served on a hot stone, which made for a fantastic dining experience. The grilled vegetables and potatoes were excellent accompaniments, and the portions were generous. The red wine and beautiful cocktails paired perfectly with the meal. I would highly recommend dining here when visiting Gdańsk. Note that it does get very busy, reservations are highly recommended (often booked days in advance).
Chleb i Wino on Wyspa Spichrzów is an excellent restaurant and one of the highlights of Gdańsk. The menu offers a fantastic selection of traditional Polish dishes alongside other great options, and the service was fast, professional, and genuinely friendly from the moment we arrived. The drinks and cocktail menu is extensive, with plenty of creative choices to suit every taste. We started with both the traditional beef steak tartare and the salmon tartare, and both were outstanding. The beef was beautifully seasoned and the salmon was incredibly fresh—I’d highly recommend trying both if you can’t decide. Great food, excellent service, delicious cocktails, and a wonderful atmosphere. An easy 5-star recommendation for anyone visiting Gdańsk.
Really good food and great experience... smoking drinks, large portions, huge menu, something for everyone. Kid friendly. Konrad was a really cool server A+ for service and Konrad has a special place in the restaurant afterlife
Our party of 7 visited here on a Sunday evening as a walk in and we were seated right away. The service was fantastic and the food was good. The cocktails were a spectacle and the prices were very reasonable.
Amazing food and cocktails. Excellent value for the quality. The four of us ordered the cocktail tree for 9 (3 of each cocktail). Each delicious and with a perfect alcohol to juice ratio. The beetroot soup was excellent, though we all normally would not eat that. We then had the gnocchi (1 of only 2 vegetarian dishes, unfortunately), the seasonal pierogi (goose and cranberry), the beef cheejs (sooo tender) and the thai noodle dish. All excellent. This is a perfect date night spit. The cocktails come with a real show (try the „wow pornstar martini“!) Antoni made the evening so pleasant and was a fabulous waiter!
