The place was cozy, but a bit noisy. Food side is the starter was a perfect tartar and the dessert was really good and perfect with several options. The main course was a bit disappointing, we ate meat, half of which we didn't eat because it was so tough. I hope that level restaurant courses are bit more higher level. The waiter was incredibly good and polite and it was a huge help that the restaurant was very pleasant.
Located just a short walk from Holiday Inn Gdańsk, the restaurant is perfectly situated by the river, offering a beautiful view of the historic surroundings and the charming atmosphere of the Old Town. I visited in the early evening and was lucky to sit on the terrace. The view was fantastic — enjoying the riverside scenery, the beautiful architecture, and the relaxed atmosphere made the dinner experience truly special. It was the perfect place to slow down after exploring Gdańsk. The restaurant itself has a stylish and comfortable design, combining modern elements with a warm and welcoming feeling. The terrace is especially enjoyable when the weather is nice. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The dishes combine Polish culinary traditions with a more contemporary approach, using local ingredients and creative presentation. Every course felt carefully prepared, and the overall dining experience was very enjoyable. The service was also excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional, creating a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. Overall, TYGLE is not only a place for a good meal, but also a great spot to experience the beauty of Gdańsk. With its riverside location, terrace views, great food, and welcoming service, it was one of the highlights of my visit. I would definitely recommend it and would happily return.
Very tasty food, great choice of alcohols. Staff pleasant and helpful. Definitely worth visiting when you are nearby in Gdańsk. 4/5 for atmosphere - it was just okay. Maybe I had higher expectations seeing the restaurant was in Michelin Guide in two consecutive years. It is just very good but, from my point of view, it is one of many ;)
Some of the best food we’ve had in Poland. Everything from starters to deserts was cooked to perfection and had a beautiful presentation. From mains the duck and the lamb were cooked exactly as they should be, very soft and flavorful. The service was absolutely lovely as well. Our waitress Natalia helped relocate us to a better table, which has a beautiful view on the water, and was always attentive, easily switching between English and polish languages. Overall we left with only positive impressions and would confidently say it was worth every zloty.
