First time visitor to Poland, this place is amazing, food is exceptional, I cannot put into words how good this place is, if you are in Gdansk and you like good food, please come to La Pampa, friendly staff and a brilliant atmosphere, absolutely brilliant.
Intimate restaurant, conveniently located in the historic district of Gdansk. We had appetizers followed by a shared beef sampler. The sampler had 100 g each of three different cuts of beef, and a huge portion of vegetables and potatoes. It was more than enough for two. I very much enjoyed the steak tartare appetizer. The restaurant offered a nice selection of fairly priced wines.
Ordered and paid for their best A5 Waguyu steak. 150 Euros. Not convinced it was even what they said it was. Have had the same quality Waguyu in other restaurants, and it's been wildly better. Presentation was nice, and service was ok. At the best, this was not a good cut. Worst, it wasn't even the piece of prime meat they charged for. Asked afterwards, they brought out and presented a pack of vacuumed meat that was unopened and not the origin of my cut. Not recommended.
We had dinner at La Pampa Steakhouse in Gdansk and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding. Our server, Philippe, was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely lovely. He made us feel welcome the moment we sat down. The food was phenomenal. Whoever the chef is deserves a serious raise because both the flavor and the presentation were impressive. Every plate looked like art and tasted even better. The drinks were just as memorable. Each one was clearly crafted with skill and care, balanced perfectly and delicious. If you are visiting Gdansk and looking for a place to enjoy a refined, elegant dinner with excellent service and exceptional food, La Pampa Steakhouse is absolutely the place to go. We would return without hesitation.
