Canis Music and Wine – Gdańsk A truly luxurious evening with an intimate atmosphere and live music setting the perfect tone. The Negronis were exceptional and the wine list beautifully curated. The tartare and duck liver pâté were rich, refined, and full of depth, while the sturgeon was the highlight—perfectly cooked and elegantly plated with well-balanced sides. Sophisticated, atmospheric, and memorable from start to finish.
Superb evening at Canis for my 50th, Niko and his team were so welcoming and service was impeccable. Food was excellent as were the drinks. Cooked to perfection. Great to have the lady playing live music with her violin. But she does need to turn up her microphone😂👌 Niko was a very friendly chap and nothing was too much bother , cheers guys, we will be back one day, 🍻
I have been here several times and frankly speaking every dining is a feast for the eyes and taste buds. The staff members are highly surefooted and witty at the same time. We love being served by Nikodem who has a great sense of humour. Truly reccommend the place.

I had the pleasure of dining at Canis Restaurant in Gdańsk’s Old Town, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the outset, the service was impeccable. Our waiter, Nikodem, provided thoughtful recommendations, including the weekend special, while our runner, Janek, ensured every detail was attended to with genuine care and professionalism. The atmosphere was enchanting, with live piano and singing creating an elegant, intimate backdrop that perfectly complemented the evening. We began with an appetizer of beef tartare, crowned with a delicate egg yolk and crisped beef chip, accompanied by a selection of bread, ham, and a mustard-butter spread. Each element was executed with precision, both in flavor and presentation. For the main course, I savored the Wagyu burger, rich, tender, and flawlessly prepared, showcasing the quality of ingredients and culinary expertise. The meal was beautifully paired with a glass of Marine Della Valpolicella 2019 from Italy, which enhanced the flavors and rounded out the dining experience. Every dish was a testament to meticulous attention to detail, balancing visual elegance with exquisite taste. Canis Restaurant offers a refined culinary journey that is both memorable and thoroughly enjoyable. It is a must-visit for anyone seeking sophistication, warmth, and exceptional cuisine in Gdańsk.
