If reading this review, next step is to go. Great food, outside atmosphere is the best in the city. Good beer selection, lots of people watching. Good for toddlers and kids as they have a kids menu.
We accidentally found this place while walking around the city center. Usually, restaurants in central locations don’t always live up to expectations, but this one was different. The service was excellent, the dishes were really delicious. We especially enjoyed the tartare and the pork knuckle. And the beer was absolutely top-notch. A place we would happily come back to.
Recommended by our tour guide and I can definitely see why he comes here. We started with a tasting flight and then bought our favourites 😎 Great atmosphere just off long Street Waitress was chatty and friendly, definitely recommend ❤️ I didn’t rate food as we had a liquid lunch 😋😎😇
Piwnica easily topped the expectations. That wasnt easy because we had already two bad experiences from top-restaurants here in Gdansk. Service was amazing. Drinks too and and appetizers also. What usually could fail easily is main course so we were pretty cautious. For nothing this time, since the pork knuckle was amazing also. There werent a lot of people in a daytime so that even more points out the quality of the restaurant; to still deliver such a amazing standards with the food in all times its open. We really liked the interior also. Really cozy and stylish. Oh. And it was still easily the cheapest place we have eaten so far! Truly a remarkable.
Beautiful day. Sunshine at +12°C warming my face. Place might look like a tourist trap because of its location, but I’m sitting at a table in the sun and honestly, I don’t care. Great beer, good pierogi, excellent service. I could sit on this terrace all day 😁
