We ordered the mussels, mackerel paste and the pistachio cheesecake. The mussels were outstanding. The sauce was rich, garlicky and tangy from the sundried tomatoes. The mussels were meaty and of a good size. The mackerel paste was perfectly was full of fish and balanced nicely with some herbs and spring onion. The bread it came with was fresh and had a nice bite to it. The pistachio cheesecake was not very pistachio tasting. The cheesecake itself was very nice with a lovely sweetness and rich taste. Overall a lovely lunch - thank you.
Very nice view. Food was so tasty, specially the apple pie. Staff was very friendly :)
As we passed the restaurant, a waiter couldn't wait for us to sit down. Unfortunately, once we were seated, the atmosphere immediately changed. The other waitress didn't have much information to share. We ordered two local "specialties," sprats and cod. I'm not arguing with the quality of the fish, but the cooking left a bit to be desired. What should have been crispy because it was fried turned out to be rather boiled and a bit mushy. Furthermore, three times all the side dishes were unavailable. The salad was gone, the boiled vegetables were gone, and only chips or more chips were served... not very appetizing if you've already had fried fish. Their alternative was crusty bread... I had to eat the fish as is, with nothing else on my plate. To top it all off, the third waitress was constantly circling the tables because she couldn't wait to clear away the food. We conclude with the toilets which bore the signs of a busy day... what was really beautiful: - the unparalleled view of the sea and the pier - the fantastic Pilsner Urquell and Kozel beers which however are from the Czech Republic, so well done Czechs!!
A typical Polish seaside bar with food. As a Brit, I have to say the fish and chips were very, very good, and the burger was great as well. Prices are reasonable, and the outdoor seating is excellent. The waitresses were very friendly - the team was superb overall !! The place also has a cool vibe inside, and it’s a nice spot to enjoy a drink. The only downside is that you can’t order at the bar - you have to order everything, even drinks, through the waitresses, which felt a bit unusual.
Awesome service, even serve 8 people and awesome sea food. Mackrel and shrimp was excellence. Not easy to get a table but definately worth to try.
