I had a wonderful stay at the Montownia Lofts. Special thank you to the staff who were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout my stay: Zuzanna, Hubert, Martina, Peter, Tomek and Dominik (I hope I'm not omitting anyone!). My room was super spacious (I was in Loft 45 Deluxe). I had a bed, sleeper sofa and 2 beds in the loft! Two families could have stayed in my room! It was clean and my bed was super comfortable. I had the most peaceful night's sleep during my 3 evening stay. I found the food hall to be super convenient especially after running around all day and not wanting to venture too far to dinner. I also took advantage of some of the tours on the river (Polish boat cruise and kayaking) which I could walk to from the hotel and it was so convenient having so many food options in the food hall on the Lower Level. I highly recommend the Montownia Lofts if your travels bring you to Gdansk. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!
We stayed here with children and really enjoyed the modern, stylish and very clean accommodation. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and having breakfast directly in the building at the bistro was very convenient. The location is also great for exploring Gdańsk. The only downside was parking it is limited and located in another building, which is not very practical with children and luggage. The garage also has a height limit of around 2 metres, so larger cars may have a problem. Arriving at night was slightly confusing as the entrance and parking directions could be marked much better
Stayed at Montownia Gdańsk as a family of four and really enjoyed it. Super cool, modern rooms with an upper-floor bed setup, all inside a converted former U-boat factory, great mix of industrial history and contemporary design. The upper floors are dedicated to rooms, while the ground floor features a very cool food hall and a great bar, featuring >15 authentic street food style restaurants with food from all over the world. Location is so so convenient, about a 15–20 minute walk to the city center. A unique and memorable place to stay in Gdańsk, especially with kids.
I stayed at Hotel Montownia on my trip to Gdańsk, and it was just amazing. The building has this incredible history—it used to be an assembly hall for submarines during WWII, part of the old Gdańsk shipyard. You can still see that industrial vibe—the concrete, the big open spaces—and it gives the place so much character. It’s a bit rough, almost like a fortress, but that’s part of its charm. And it’s perfectly located—just a short walk from Stocznia Gdańska and the Museum of Solidarity. If you’re after something really different and memorable, this is the place. I’m adding some photos because you just have to see it!
I had an absolutely amazing stay at the hotel Montownia in Gdańsk. I arrived at 10 a.m., and even though check-in wasn’t until 4 p.m., my room was ready—such a kind gesture! They also offered a late checkout at no extra charge. The hotel is spotless, with a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern elegance. It was so warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly kind. Plus, the food in the downstairs restaurant was simply amazing. The hotel is also perfectly located—just a short walk from the town center. I truly enjoyed exploring every day. I highly recommend this hotel!
