We stayed here for 2 nights. Very central location. Walkable distance to old town, main attractions and station. Roman was good with check in process and allowed us to check in about hour early when we arrived. Room was decent size and clean. Water stations on every floor and refillable bottle provided.
I have enjoyed my timestaying in the Mercure. The staff have been extremely helpful and the service was incredible of some note was Nadia extremly polite and clearly took pride in her role. There was a moment she reareanged the tables showing to me Mercure took pride the appearance of the hotel was important as the face the customer sees.
I spent 2 nights at this hotel from May 1-3 during an incredibly warm and sunny weekend in beautiful Gdansk. My room was well appointed with a nice view of the old town. I wish the window was larger. The bed was super comfortable, there was an iron and iron board, coffee making facilities. Soundproofing was ok, I could hear people talking above me but it was muffled. Location is good, 10 minutes walk to the old town, about 6 to the railway station. This hotel caters to large bus groups so the breakfast room was very busy. I didn't think the breakfast was worth the extra 20 Euros. There is a Starbucks next to the hotel. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
I had a truly excellent stay. A special thank you to Wictor (I hope I got the name right), the receptionist, who was extremely professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful. He went above and beyond to accommodate all my requests. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, with a great selection, including excellent vegan options, which I really appreciated. The room and the view are simply beautiful, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The location is also perfect: very convenient for exploring the city, with everything within walking distance. Highly recommended, I will definitely come back.
Excellent service. Room size was great, reception was very helpful with any questions, also offered us a cheaper rate for breakfast if we wanted. Kept our bags until our late flight on day of check out. Rooms were clean and the shower was amazing.
