I rate my stay at the Dom Zdrojowy hotel in Brzeźno a maximum of 3 stars. The exterior appearance of the facility, the aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained hallways, and the overall cleanliness are definitely positive – there's really nothing to complain about here. Unfortunately, that's where the positive impression ends. The rooms are very small, almost claustrophobic, which completely doesn't match the standard and price of the stay. The biggest disappointment, however, was the bed – instead of a classic double bed, we received a fold-out sofa. In a hotel of this class and price, this is simply unacceptable. Sleep comfort was very poor and definitely fell short of expectations. Furthermore, the breakfast prices (PLN 60 per person) are very high compared to the standard of the entire stay. With such an offer, guests have the right to expect much better – both in terms of space and room amenities. I've stayed in many hotels, and this is the first time I've encountered such a poor standard of bed in a room for two people. To sum up – the place has potential and looks good “at first glance”, but the real comfort of the stay unfortunately does not match the price.
A fantastic place with great service, elegant breakfasts, and above all, a wonderful location. We're not a particularly demanding couple, but we appreciate cleanliness and comfort. You can definitely count on that here. A great base for sightseeing. I highly recommend it.
From January 16th to January 18th, 2026, we had the pleasure of staying at the Dom Zdrojowy Hotel. The hotel is situated in a beautiful, picturesque location. The beach and a beautiful park are nearby. The hotel breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Candles were lit in the dining room during breakfast, and atmospheric music played in the background, making the meal even more wonderful. Unfortunately, there are some elements that we feel could be improved. One of them is the service. The man with black hair at the front desk unfortunately lacked the courtesy of the staff. He didn't take the initiative to make contact. We were greeted very curtly, and we felt as if he didn't want us there. The receptionist is the first face of the hotel, so if they don't demonstrate their satisfaction with a guest's arrival, they won't feel welcomed. An important aspect that could be improved is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. While the room itself was clean and the bedding smelled good, the bathroom unfortunately had many flaws. We would have been more understanding if it were peak season, but the hotel didn't appear to be fully booked, and such filth is glaring and unacceptable in such a good hotel in such a location. The photos below show these flaws. Nevertheless, it's a beautiful place, and once the shortcomings described have been addressed, it's worth recommending.
