Grano Hotel Gdańsk Old Town
Gdansk
Beoordelingen
As external guests who booked the day spa, we were very disappointed overall, despite a genuinely good massage. For the high price, the facilities fall short: changing rooms lack privacy as the doors open into the changing space and the two changing rooms lack storage, the pool is tiny, overcrowded, and very loud with splashing children. It felt nothing like a relaxing retreat, and we ended up leaving early. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend it for external guests. It is no spa, just a hotel pool with a small sauna.
This hotel is exceptional: the location, the service, the staff, everything! One of the best hotels I've ever been! Gdansk Old Town is just a short walk away. The staff is very kind, cleaning the rooms every day, you feel they watch for every detail. The breakfast has a very wide range of foods, worth to try. In one world: exceptional! Totally recommend!
This hotel is exceptionally located within walking distance of Gdansk’s main tourist attractions and the Forum mall. The property features a stylish, moody aesthetic with a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. Remarkably, the guest rooms are incredibly spacious. They were easily the largest accommodations of my entire European trip. The onsite facilities are excellent, including a well-equipped gym, a relaxing spa, and a swimming pool. Breakfast is another major highlight, offering a fantastic and diverse spread. To top it off, the staff is highly welcoming, and the Wi-Fi connection is reliably fast. I would absolutely stay here again.
Stayed at GRANO HOTEL Gdańsk and honestly the price-to-quality ratio feels overrated. For the price they charge, I expected a much more professional experience. The reception staff made me feel like I was checking into a two-star hotel rather than a property presenting itself as higher standard. Another major downside was the very poor sound insulation in the rooms. You can easily hear noise from neighboring rooms and the corridor, which seriously affects comfort and sleep quality. Overall, the hotel looks better in photos than in the actual guest experience.
The “Chefs’ Dinner x Glenfiddich”, held on April 25, 2026 at Grano Hotel Gdańsk Old Town, was an exceptional culinary event that perfectly combined fine dining with the art of whisky pairing. It was an absolutely outstanding evening built around a refined food pairing concept. Five exceptional chefs presented their signature dishes, each thoughtfully paired with selected Glenfiddich whiskies. Every course was perfectly balanced, highlighting both the creativity of the chefs and the character of the whisky. A special mention goes to the whisky ambassador, who introduced each expression with great knowledge and passion, adding depth and context to the entire experience. His presentation elevated the pairing to another level. The event was flawlessly organized, clearly reflecting excellent hotel management and attention to detail. The service at the tables was impeccable – professional, attentive, and perfectly timed throughout the evening. Overall, a truly memorable culinary experience where everything came together seamlessly. Highly recommended.
