Fantastic bar - Celtic Pub is a must visit when coming to Gdansk, I had the grilled sausage, baked potato fries and fries every beer on tap. The staff let you charges phone with no hassle too, which is good. Very good prices, football and sports on nonstop. Highly recommended!! Coming from a Scotsman that loves a bevy… All of the staff were wonderfully friendly and welcoming especially Ewa, Conrad, Olga and Iwona
I took my Irish husband and his family to this pub as it appeared as one of the better choices for an Irish pub in Gdańsk. Starting with the positives the place is quite clean and well kept, the food was also good if you’re looking for regular pub/bar food. The location is very central and easy to get to. The decor or atmosphere is lacking a lot, however so all the ‘pubs’ in Gdańsk so you can’t fault that, also the prices although high are on par with other pubs and bars. The biggest downfall was the staff, except one male waiter that was outstanding, quite tall with brown hair he was really pleasant and had excellent English. The rest of the staff was simply horrendous, rolling their eyes, making comments in Polish to each other while serving English speaking guests and generally being rude. At the end of the night despite adding a service charge to each order I was approached by the staff saying I need to pay a 10% tip - mind you a 10% service charge has already been added on with each round of drinks. Never in Poland have I been demanded to pay a tip and never mind for such a poor and rude service. I was more than happy to give a cash tip to the male waiter that was excellent and pleasant, not to the rest of staff. I would not recommend going to this pub if you’re not Polish speaking judging by the waiting staffs behaviour, I was embarrassed to have my Irish family witness such foul service.
Not really a pub, but a good bar with Guinness on tap and a selection of snacks. Prices are in line with the location, so about what you would expect. Major sporting events can be watched in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Overall, a nice place to enjoy a drink and spend some time with friends.
I came here in January with my girlfriend Was such a good environment the staff were all lovely and the security was so friendly which was nice there was a real relaxed vibe in there definitely made our trip better.booze wasn’t bad priced at all and we made some good friends in here :) would recommend to anyone. when I return to gdansk i definitely shall be returning to this bar
